What can I say about Bipin Pandit? . . . This immensely talented person who has kept the flag of Ad Club Mumbai flying high for so many years . . .
Well, let me start off by saying that I feel extremely privileged to have known Bipin. TOI and Ad Club’s association goes back a long way and having known and worked with Bipin for so many years has been a truly wonderful experience. Having been President of the Ad Club, Mumbai, for 4 years, I have had the fortune of working really closely with him on a host of initiatives and forging an extremely strong camaraderie both as a colleague and a friend.
His thorough professionalism in conducting the proceedings of the Ad Club over the years has been extremely inspiring and enlightening. More so, what’s remarkable is the way he has conducted himself, never having any professional airs, shouldering his responsibilities with absolute commitment and devotion and always being a joy to have around in social circles.
And to think that this is just one aspect of his multi-faceted personality!
Bipin’s interest across music, sports (Cricket especially), performing arts, literary arts and so many other subjects is not only admirable but infectious. His friendly, easy going personality coupled with a quick wit always leaves a lasting impression on the people he meets. Be it his impeccable mimicry skills, his compering, his singing or his feverish support for cricket, Bipin’s zest for life is truly commendable.
But above all this, Bipin’s greatest and most endearing quality is his humility and his humane nature . . . his desire to learn more, know more and make more and more friends with the enthusiasm of a teenager is what makes him stand out as an exceptional human being!
It has indeed been a pleasure and honor knowing Bipin. Keep going! Here’s wishing you the very best for the future!
